Managed Ingress Controllers

Avisi Cloud Kubernetes supports managed ingress controller, which allows you to easily install and configure a Kubernetes ingress controller within your Avisi Cloud Kubernetes cluster. This feature is designed to ensure the highest levels of availability and security for your ingress traffic, with load balancer configuration and proxy hardening pre-configured.

Enabling Managed Ingress Controllers

You can enable the managed ingress controller feature for your Avisi Cloud Kubernetes cluster through either the API or the Console. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the details page of your cluster in the Console.
  2. Navigate to the Networking tab.
  3. Enable the ingress controller.

Once enabled, the ingress controller will be up and running within a few minutes. Avisi Cloud will keep it up-to-date, so you don’t have to worry about managing upgrades or security patches.

Note that in order to use the managed ingress controller feature, you must have at least one node pool set up within your cluster. Additionally, the feature will provision a load balancer within your cloud using a Kubernetes Service.
